Shauna Finnegan began her legal career as a Pro Bono Housing Attorney at Neighborhood Legal Services, in Lawrence, Massachusetts helping low-income families in landlord/tenant disputes, evictions, and foreclosures. Prior to working at NLS, Shauna worked as an Intern for Asst. Clerk Edward Sullivan at the Essex County Superior Courthouse, in Lawrence, Massachusetts and as a Paralegal at Palma Law Offices in Lowell, Massachusetts directly for Attorney Todd Beauregard. She joined The Law Office of Todd D. Beauregard, P.C. in 2008.
A greater portion of Shauna’s practice is in the Probate and Family Courts where she advocates for her clients on issues pertaining to divorce, custody, visitation, child support and alimony. In addition, Attorney Finnegan handles a variety of probate matters including guardianships over children and incapacitated adults, as well as elder care cases involving the protection against neglect and financial exploitation. Attorney Finnegan is often called upon by the Courts to act as a Guardian ad Litem in cases involving the care and custody of minor children.

Shauna received her BA in English Studies from Merrimack College, in North Andover, Massachusetts and her Juris Doctorate from Suffolk University Law School in Boston, Massachusetts. She was admitted to the Massachusetts State Bar in December of 2008 where she has continuously been a member in good standing. Attorney Finnegan is a Massachusetts Court certified Category F Guardian ad Litem and presently sits on the Board of Directors for the Greater Lowell Bar Association. She resides in Southern New Hampshire and enjoys spending time with her three small children.
